29th AGM

Organising Chairman: Dr Arun Jha

Venue: Hilton Watford Hotel, Elton Way, Watford, WD25 8HA

Date: 25th to 27th July 2014

Message from Local Organising Committee:

31 March 2014

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to confirm that the 29th AGM of our Association will be held on 25th – 27th July 2014 at Hilton Watford, where some of you have already been to support the charity event last year. The venue offers complementary use of the gym, swimming pool and sauna. It is easily accessible from the M1 and is very close to the Hare Krishna Temple (Bhakti Vedanta Manor). There is ample free parking on site.

I would like to invite you all to attend the AGM at Hilton with all your family and friends. There is a lot to catch up on and plenty to share since we last met in Birmingham. We have kept the registration fee the same at £180 per person for the weekend. For the first time in the history of AGM, first-degree relatives of all NDAUK members will be eligible for becoming the full member and every delegate will be invited to attend the AGM. We are holding special scientific sessions for younger doctors in the morning and a CPD workshop in the afternoon. We are planning to invite a Guest speaker from Nepal this year to update us on the health and medical education issues. At the Gala dinner we are organizing a special Nepalese cultural dance programme followed by more music and dance. There will be a special charity presentation session followed by picnic on Sunday 27th July.

The conference registration fee and rates are detailed in the registration form is available to download from the NDA website). Please send the completed registration form by 30th May 2014. All hotel reservations are on a first come first serve basis.

On behalf of NDA (UK) and Executive committee (which is also the local organizing committee this year) I look forward to welcoming you all to Watford and making this year’s AGM a very enjoyable family event.

 With best wishes

Yours Sincerely

      Arun Jha
